Workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. and topics include tax-acquired property, block grant guidelines and uses of the area around the Barker Mill Trail. The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. and topics include audit committee recommendations and use of the Barker Mill trail area.
LEWISTON — Lewiston-Auburn Charter Commission, 7 p.m. in Lewiston City Hall. This will the first meeting for the newly elected commission.
TUESDAY, July 8
AUBURN — Planning Board regular meeting, 6 p.m. in Auburn Hall.
WEDNESDAY, July 9
AUBURN — School Committee, 7 p.m., Auburn Hall. Agenda: approval of Kim Taylor as principal of Sherwood Heights Elementary School, and Auburn City Economic Development Specialist Alan Manoian will talk about the history of the Edward Little statue.
AUBURN — Free concert by Auburn Community Band, 7-8:15 p.m., Festival Plaza, with the theme Songs that Bridge Generations. Medleys, Broadway music and rock ‘n’ roll. Rain location is Hilton Garden Inn.
AUBURN — Auburn Recreation and Special Events Advisory Board meeting, 6:30 p.m. in the Hasty Community Center in Pettengill Park, 48 Pettengill Park Road.
