HARTFORD — The Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp, 545 Town Farm Road, is offering the following workshops on the weekend:

Saturday, July 12, at 1 p.m.: “Empowering Your Life through Positive Thought” with Greta Lilek.  The workshop will help identify the thought process that determines lives. We are each responsible for all of our experiences and these in return create our future.

This workshop will help us to release the past and heal our futures. Self- approval and self- acceptance are the keys to positive changes. This workshop is comprised of exercises in meditation and is also recommended for healers. The suggested donation is $25.

Lilek is a Reiki Master and has studied several healing modalities.

There will be an opening circle and meditation at 12:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 12, at 3 p.m.: “Attaining Higher Degrees of Spiritual Initiation” with the Rev. John Lilek.

For the true spiritual worker seeking the higher spiritual gifts and direct teaching from the master teachers, one must prepare oneself in spiritual purification.

Topics covered will include: Attitude and degree of faith one must have to be accepted by higher orders; challenges each candidate must undergo to be considered worthy; different ways spirit reaches and invites a candidate for initiation and spiritual awakening.

There will be a guided meditation joining class members with their spirit teachers in an actual discussion.

Lilek is founder and executive director of the Universal Institute of Advanced Mediumship. He is an ordained minister, certified teacher, healer, medium (both mental and physical) through the Universal Spiritualist Association. He is co-pastor of A Temple of Love and Light located in Ft. Wayne Ind.

The suggested donation is $25.

Sunday, July 13, at 12:30 p.m.: “Auragraphs” with Mary Lou Marion

Pioneered by Harold Sharpe, an auragraph is a personal depiction of an assessment for your spiritual journey and your life journey. Each auragraph is unique and inspired by your own unique vibration. Your auragraph captures your spiritual energy touching your current life’s events, things that may have happened in your past, and potentials for future manifestations in your life. Auragraphs are visual representations of your life’s journey infused with spiritual assessments and insights.

Marion  received mediumship training from Mary Lou Baumhauf and Peggy Handy at the Church of Spiritual Life in Massachusetts.
