LIVERMORE — The Lady Golfers at Maple Lane Golf Course will hold their second annual tournament on Tuesday, July 15, to support patients at the Bennett Breast Care Center at Central Maine Medical Center.
Last year the group donated $3,400 to the patients to assist with costs or deductibles for mammograms or other procedures.
The tournament will consist of four-lady teams playing in a scramble format for 18 holes. The price of $50 will cover green fees, prizes and lunch, with an additional $10 to rent a cart. There will be prizes for first, second and third places, for closest-to-the-pin, and for longest drive.
In additional to the tournament, there will be raffle tickets for a quilt made by Sue St. Pierre on sale by members. There will also be items donated by area businesses for a silent auction open to the public for bidding.
Women should register their team by calling Rick at Maple Lane at 897-3770. Individuals may sign up to be placed on a team if there are slots available.
