1964 – 2014

LEWISTON — Christina Marie Poulin, 50, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8.

She was born in Exeter, N.H., on March 31, 1964, a daughter of Robert Poulin of Minot and Suzanne Armstrong of Sabattus. Christina graduated from Lacrosse College in Lacrosse, Wis., with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Christina was a believer in the power of touch and was passionate about helping others. She decided to become a therapeutic massage therapist, went back to school and became licensed. She went on to not only touch people with her hands, but with her heart as well as she explored the country and the world practicing her craft.

During her travels, she spent much time exploring the beauty of nature and lived in many different places, including Colorado, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Thailand and Maine. Christina was a rare and special person and you knew it while in her presence, from the stranger she met on the street to the people most close to her.

She is survived and greatly loved and missed by her parents, Robert Poulin and Suzanne Armstrong; her stepmother, Pamela Poulin, of Minot; her siblings, Michelle and her husband, Dan Bibeau, of Pengilly, Minn., James Poulin of Dallas, Texas, and Stephanie Poulin of Auburn; her niece, Gabrielle Poulin, of Auburn; nephews, Nathan Poulin of Auburn and Mitchell Poulin of Portland; and her best friend, Crystal Stump, of Lewiston. She also leaves behind many special cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
