‘Snake Man’ to visit with his pets

RUMFORD — The Rumford Public Library Summer Fest program invites area children to slither over to the library at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, for an hour of reptiles with Rob “Snake Man” White.

White will bring his pet snakes and will talk about their habits, as well as myths and facts about the reptiles.

There will be an opportunity for youngsters to meet some of the snakes up close and personal. Children are allowed to hold them under Robbie’s watchful eye.

All programs are free and open to all area children and their friends. Parents and other caregivers are welcome to attend and are encouraged to accompany younger children.
