1952 – 2014

LEWISTON — Juan T. Flores, 61, of Lewiston, passed away on Monday, July 7.

He was born on Dec. 21, 1952, in Mexico, the son of Rudolph Flores Sr. and Maria Flores.

He lived in Mexico throughout his younger years. His family then moved to Maine in the late 1960s, and he worked for Bates Mill for many years. He married Madeline Rousseau, of Lewiston, and had two daughters.

Juan was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Lewiston. He learned the English language and went back to school to earn his G.E.D. He enjoyed writing poetry, spending time with his family and going for walks with his dog.

He is survived by his parents, Rudolph Flores Sr. and Maria Flores of Lewiston; two daughters, Maria Boisvert and her husband, Robert Boisvert, of Lewiston and Jessica Trujillo and her husband, David Trujillo, of Virginia; three brothers, Eduardo Flores and Pauline Flores of Poland, Rudolph Flores Jr. and his wife, Leslie Flores, of Augusta and Martin Flores and his wife, Marcie Flores, of Gorham; two sisters, Alta Travers of Wales and Maria Christie of Lewiston; and seven grandchildren, four nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and three great-nephews.
