FARMINGTON — The Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a woman who left Walmart on Sunday, June 6, without paying for a sweatshirt.
The woman was spotted by store security leaving without paying for a pink Maine sweatshirt, valued at $21.80, Farmington police secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said.
Security told her to stop but she went over a parking lot guardrail into a swampy area heading in the direction of Red Schoolhouse Road, she said.
Walmart security believe she came in a vehicle and left on foot. They said she had red hair, a white shirt and was wearing a pink backpack, Pomeroy said.
Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call Farmington Police Department at 778-6311.
