The program “Loons and Eagles on Cobbossee Lake” will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 18.
Lisa Kane, MDIFW natural science educator, will teach about the loons and eagles of Cobbossee Lake. Bring water and binoculars. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed. Feel free to pack a brown bag dinner.
Cost is $15 adults, $5 children 8-18, 7 and under free.
There is a 22 participant maximum; preregister at the number or address above.
A Butterfly Field Trip at the Small-Burnham Conservation Area, Litchfield, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 19.
Join Bob Gobeil, a former biology professor who specializes in butterflies and an active volunteer for the Maine Butterfly Survey, to explore for butterflies. Meet at the Small-Burnham Conservation Area trail head.
The rain date is Sunday, July 20, same time.
