AUBURN — A memorial Mass honoring the life of Normand I. Caron was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lariviere and assisted by deacon Denis Mailhot on Thursday, July 17, at Sacred Heart Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Normand’s son, Dennis, carried his father’s urn to the altar at the beginning of Mass. The Old Testament reading was proclaimed by Normand’s nephew, Alan Robitaille, and the New Testament reading was proclaimed by Normand’s grandson, Matthew Caron. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Norm’s great-grandsons, Liam and Finn Love, as well as Bryson Carter. Words of remembrance were shared by Norm’s son, Gary Caron.

At the conclusion of Mass, a family reception line was formed so all in attendance were able to greet the Caron family with a personal condolence, after which all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
