St. Luke’s lobster roll lunches
FARMINGTON — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s famous lobster roll bagged lunches are available again this year through pre-order only with free delivery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 25, throughout the Farmington area.
Members will also be selling lobster roll bagged lunches in downtown Farmington during the festival on Saturday, July 26.
Lunches include a clear meat lobster roll, chips, homemade brownie and beverage, all for $11.

Donations for Carthage sale
CARTHAGE — The Carthage Historical Society will hold a bake sale and lawn sale from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at the Carthage Historical Society Museum.
Anyone wishing to donate items or food to the sale can reach Nancy at 562-7762 or Fay at 562-7337.
A 3-by-5 braided rug made by Fay Hutchinson will be raffled. Tickets may be purchased by calling Nancy or Fay. The rug will be on display at Bradbury’s Market on July 26 and 27; tickets will be available then. They also will be available on Aug. 1.
Wilton Area Food Pantry open

Wilton UMC plans annual yard sale
WILTON — The Wilton United Methodist Church will hold its annual yard sale during the Blueberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 1.
Anyone who has items they’d like to donate to the event may drop them off at the church on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., July 27, or call Jeff Nadeau at 645-4864 and he will pick them up.
All household and miscellaneous items will be accepted except clothes, shoes or appliances.
Farmington Elks plan block party
FARMINGTON — Farmington Elks Lodge will presents its second annual block party on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The event will feature music by Matt and the Barn Burners from 4:30 to 9 p.m., as well as a car/bike show from 3 to 6 p.m. and a full pig roast meal served starting at 5.

SAD 52 offers new colorguard course
TURNER — MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education will present a brand new course this summer. Beginner Colorguard runs Aug. 4-7.
Discover the art of basic flag spinning along with dance. Learn a fun routine set to music and no experience is necessary. This is open to students entering third to eighth grade.
Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. Flag equipment will be provided.

Artists, craftsmen sought for market
FARMINGTON — The Saturday Farmington Farmers Market located in the District Courthouse Parking lot on Main Street is seeking artists and craftsmen to display their work and provide demonstrations on Aug. 9 at “Art at the Market.”
This is the first event hosted by the Saturday Farmington Farmers’ Market which encompasses both local food and art.
