1961 – 2014
AUBURN — Diane Cristine Jackson, of Auburn, born Aug. 18, 1961, passed away on Friday, July 18, after a five-year battle with liver cancer. She was 52 years old.
Diane loved simple things, such as reading, playing with her dog, Taco, and being with her family. Diane graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in the Class of 1978.
She had three children whom she loved very dearly. Diane was also close with the family of her oldest son’s best friend, the Pulks, of Auburn. The Pulks held a place so special in Diane’s heart, that when she became too ill to care for her children, the Pulks were the first people she trusted to take on such a huge task. The gratitude Diane felt for the Pulks was beyond immeasurable. She was grateful to have been surrounded by these compassionate, selfless, magnanimous people in her final days.
Diane is survived by her twins, Brianna and Daniel Hull of Auburn; her niece, Mikaylia Harnden; her sister-in-law, Tamara Hull; and her brother-in-law, Steven Foster, all of Lisbon; her second family, Linda, Scott, Tyler and Andrew Pulk of Auburn; and numerous other friends and relatives whom she loved so much.
She was predeceased by her partner, James Hull; and her son, Andrew Jackson, both of Lewiston.
Diane’s family would like to thank Bolster Heights and the team at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their incredible help during this rough time.
