LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Louise Pare was celebrated Monday morning, July 21, by the Rev. Marc Caron and assisted by deacon Denis Mailhot at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.
During Mass, Louise’s niece, Christine Mamau, read from the Old Testament as well as reciting the Prayer of the Faithful. Words of remembrance were shared by Louise’s sister, Madeleine Roy, and Louise’s niece, Marie Roy.
Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Caron recited committal prayers at the interment. Pallbearers were Gregory Roy, James Pare, Michelle Roy, Edward Pare, Suzanne Palmer and Steven Pare.
At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
