LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens met on June 2 for their monthly meeting followed by an ice cream sundae social.
June and July birthdays were celebrated with cake. A game of pass the buck was played.
The group will enjoy Senior Fun Day starting at 9 a.m. on Aug. 7 at Lost Valley. The day will include bingo, outside games, and lunch. Lunch choices are ham with a hot pineapple sauce or fillet of haddock.
Afternoon entertainment will be provided by the Lorraine Ouellette Trio. There will be door prizes and raffles. Cost is $15.
Tickets can be purchased at the office, 65 Central Ave., from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday. The deadline is July 31.
The next general membership meeting will be on Sept. 8. Pizza and chips will be served. August and September birthdays will be celebrated.
The following trips are being offered. Anyone is welcome to attend.
