NEW SHARON — A Gardiner woman has been accused of throwing a tool box that hit and damaged a man’s motorcycle Tuesday.
Franklin County sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Brann investigated a report of criminal mischief at a Cape Cod Hill residence, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.
Heather Hilton, 25, was upset at her ex-boyfriend and was delivering items to him at the New Sharon residence, he said.
While throwing things out, she tossed a tool box and intended it to hit the ex-boyfriend’s motorcycle. Instead, she hit another man’s motorcycle, causing damage, he said.
Hilton was issued a summons on a charge of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
