NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank announces that Mary Leavitt has joined the Norway Savings Asset Management Group as vice president and senior trust officer.
Leavitt will be working primarily out of the Auburn office at 31 Court St. She comes to Norway Savings Bank with more than 30 years of experience in trust and fiduciary services, with a unique combination of trust administration and operational expertise.
Leavitt graduated from Southern Maine Community College in 1975 and completed the New England School of Banking Trust Program in 2000. She earned her Certified Securities Operations Professional designation in 1998 and her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation in 2003.
She is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council and the Maine Bankers Trust and Wealth Management Committee. She is an active member of the Lewiston-Auburn community, serving on the finance committee for United Way of Androscoggin County and assists in fundraising efforts for the Dempsey Challenge.
