ANDOVER — Andover Olde Home Days, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” will take place Friday through Sunday, Aug. 1-3.
Judging for the garden contest will take place Thursday, July 31.
Events on Friday will include an auction at 3 p.m. on the church steps and a concert with Noel Palmer at 6:30 p.m. on the common.
Saturday’s events will include vendors, crafts, games, food and wagon rides.
The 10th annual Andover Olde Home Days road race will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday at the elementary school.
A car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aker’s Field. A flower show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parade will be at 10 a.m. on Main Street.
A photo contest and art show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Also, a chicken barbecue will be held at 11 a.m. at the fire station and a pie-eating contest at 11:30 a.m. near the tennis court.
The Ellis River Riders will hold a night game show at 3 p.m. Saturday and an open horse show starting at 9 a.m. Sunday.
There is free parking in the lower Grimaldi Field on Route 120. SAD 44 will provide transportation from the Grimaldi Field to around the town square from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Only service dogs will be allowed on the common.
