OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Marc E. Theberge, 54, of Judith Street in Lewiston, died Sunday, July 27, while vacationing, with his wife at his side.

He was born in Lewiston on May 5, 1960, a son of the late Gerard and Alexina Auger Theberge. He graduated from Lewiston High School in the Class of 1978. Marc worked in retail most of his life and was retired from Walmart.

He enjoyed visiting Mount Washington, the Boston Red Sox, working around his home, spending time with his dog, Sandy, and traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, the former Donna E. Smith, whom he married on Dec. 14, 1979; his sisters and brothers, Jeanne and husband, Maurice Morin, of Auburn, Therese and husband, Marcel Mercier, of Monmouth, Remi and wife, Patricia Theberge, of Monmouth, Rachel and husband, David Crookston, of Greene, Lisa and husband, Ben Shen, of Auburn, Suzanne and husband, Daniel Levesque, of Lewiston and Renee Barkley of Bedford, Mass.; his mother-in-law, Patricia Smith, of Auburn; and his sister-in-law, Karen Smith, of Auburn.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Francis Smith.
