Amvets post cancels pig roast

NORWAY — Amvets Post 777 serving Oxford Hills has had to cancel the pig roast that was scheduled at the fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 2.

The Oxford County Fair Association will still hold the annual Chinese Silent Auction from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the fairgrounds.

Socrates Cafe discussion

WATERFORD — The Socrates Cafe will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Waterford Library. End-of-life Issues will be discussed.
