MEXICO — Discussion on the town’s animal control ordinance and campsites at the Mexico Recreation Park are among the items to be discussed by the Planning Board on Thursday.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. July 31 at the Town Office.

During an April selectmen meeting, Selectman and Planning Board member Reggie Arsenault said the town received several complaints from residents about owners walking their dogs and not picking up their waste.

Arsenault said in April that the town had to investigate the state’s animal control regulations before making any decisions about the town’s seven-page ordinance.

The Planning Board also will discuss whether campers should be allowed at the Mexico Recreation Park.
