WALDOBORO — Two young children are seriously hurt after they were struck by a moving vehicle Friday, according to a report by WGME 13.

Dispatchers told WGME that the children were struck at 8 p.m. on Union Road.

The identity of the children has not been released. An investigation into the incident has begun.
