STODDARD, N.H. — State Police say three people are dead after a sedan crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 9 in southwestern New Hampshire and smashed into an RV.

State Police say in a press release that a Honda Accord was traveling westbound near Stoddard at about 2:15 p.m. Saturday when it crossed into the eastbound lane. A 54-year-old woman in the car, her 16-year-old passenger and the passenger in the RV died from their injuries. The driver of the RV was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
