1960 – 2014

NEW GLOUCESTER — Arthur Holland, 54, of New Gloucester, died on Saturday, Aug. 2, at his home.

He was born in Portland on July 7, 1960, a son of Frank and Elsie Holland. He attended Gray-New Gloucester schools.

Arthur loved to tinker on motors of any kind, especially stock cars. A very kind and generous man to his friends and family, he also loved NASCAR, animals and splitting wood for people. Molly, his dog, was with him whenever possible.

He is survived by his sister, Kathleen H. Wright, of Springerville, Ariz.,; and many friends who will greatly miss him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Elsie; and brother, Bill.
