CHESTERVILLE — A Franklin County deputy is investigating a break-in at a camp on Egypt Pond Road, where a person or persons climbed got in through a skylight, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.
Cpl. Nate Bean responded to a New Hampshire man’s report Saturday of a burglary that occurred within the past two weeks, he said.
Bean’s investigation revealed that $50 in change was stolen from the camp. A window to a shed also had been pried open.
The thief or thieves had to walk in to the property because the driveway is gated, he said.
