MEXICO — The Mexico and Rumford Police Departments are planning to set up an OUI road block from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, on a section of Route 2, Mexico police Chief Roy Hodsdon said.
Hodsdon said that the road block is part of a Bureau of Highway Safety grant that both Mexico and Rumford recently received.
“We try to do these OUI road blocks whenever the grant money comes in,” Hodsdon said. “We’ll be set up on a section of Route 2 for the evening.”
