SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Amber Duguay of Mexico graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the Western New England University School of Law in a commencement ceremony held on May 17.
While at Western New England, Duguay was selected to represent the school and participated in the National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Nashville, Tenn. In addition, Duguay served as president of the Women’s Law Association and a member of the law honor society, Phi Alpha Delta.
Duguay plans to sit for the Maine Bar exam this summer and ultimately pursue a career focusing on real estate law.
A 2007 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and 2011 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, Duguay is the daughter of Jeanie Duguay and the late Peter Duguay of Mexico.
