VIENNA — Funeral services for Herschel J. “Eba” Rackliff Sr. of Vienna were held at 11 a.m. On Saturday, Aug. 16, from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road (Routes 2 and 27), Farmington, with Rev. Laura Church of the North Vienna United Methodist Church officiating. The first special song, a family favorite, was John Denver’s “Country Roads.” Kathy Meader was the soloist, and at the remembrance service, she sang “The Rose” and “Amazing Grace” at the graveside committal service. The Vienna Fire Department served as an honor guard and as pallbearers, Michael Church, Brian Church, Steve Lilly Jr., Barry Emery, Paul Leblond, Tory Moora and John Ljunggren. Graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington. Following services, a comfort reception was held at the North Vienna United Methodist Church vestry, Tower Road, Vienna.
