I am ashamed of my country and of President Obama. Appointing John Kerry as secretary of state was an insult to every veteran in this country.

Obama has insulted U.S. allies and has denounced Israel for defending itself against terrorists. Hamas has been firing rockets into Israel for years, yet when Israel fights back, they are vilified. Israel has every right to defend itself.

Hamas places its rocket launchers in schools and hospitals, hoping Israel will retaliate. Hamas uses women and children as shields, hoping to gain the world’s sympathy when they are killed. Israel warns of incoming attacks, but the Palestinians are forced to stay. 

Obama silently condones terrorists who are intent on the takeover of Iraq. ISIS is gaining in Iraq yet Obama is doing little to stop them. He has abandoned the people of Iraq. His token strikes to help the Kurds in the northern part of Iraq barely address the continuing slaughter of Christians and others in the rest of the country.

According to CNN and MSN, ISIS terrorists are beheading Christians, children, fathers and mothers. No one is listening. There is no outcry from the Obama administration or the rest of the world.

It is a religious war with radical Muslims against non-Muslims. The media are silent, the U.N. is silent, and Obama is on vacation.

I send my deepest apologies to the people of Israel and Iraq for my country’s desertion of them in their time of need.
