PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club will hold a big dance on Saturday, Aug. 23, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club.

The dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. in the air-conditioned Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Tim Marriner of Rock Hill, S.C., a well-known national caller, will do the calling for the square dancing.

Carol Arsenault will do the cueing for the round dancing. Ray Hilton, club caller, will be Master of Ceremonies.

There will be door prizes and refreshments.
