LEWISTON — A liturgy of the word service honoring the life of W. Michael Swartz was held Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Holy Family Church, following prayers at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

Deacon Irenee Richard officiated the service and words of remembrance were expressed by Michael’s wife, Emily Jean Swartz. Pallbearers were Dan Mathieu, Dean Graffam, Phil and Andy Scherzer, Josh Brodeur and Matt Murrell. A reception of fellowship was held at DaVinci’s Eatery.
