1956 – 2014

LEWISTON — Agnes “Annie” Murray O’Shea, 58, of Livermore, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness on Wednesday, Aug. 20, with her loving family and many friends by her side.

Annie was born in Bristol, Conn., on June 8, 1956, a daughter of Francis and Margaret Malley Murray. After graduating from Bristol Eastern High School, Annie went on to earn her nursing degree at St. Joseph’s College and later earned a master’s degree in business at Thomas College.

She married Dan O’Shea in 1984, and together they raised three children.

In her 35 years of nursing, Annie’s roles included direct care provider, diabetes educator, nursing staff developer, coordinator of occupational health and safety and district nurse.

Annie’s loves were her perennial flower gardens, family vacations at the beach, spending time chatting with friends and following her children’s activities and interests.

Annie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dan; her three children, Dr. Sean, Malley and Mark; her sister, Theresa Johnson and husband, Tedd, of Unionville, Conn., and their daughter, Chrissy, and her daughter, Kacie; her brother, Paul Murray and his wife, Susan, of San Diego, Calif.; and her brother, Patrick Murray and wife, Laurie, of Haddam Neck, Conn.
