My daughter, Heidi Brooks, is the Democratic candidate running for House District 61.

As her mom, I can speak to her kindness, competence and work ethic on behalf of others. Her commitment to our family and her community are evident to all who know her.

Unlike others, Heidi is not someone who calls attention to herself; instead, she chooses to work quietly behind the scenes in support of others and has accomplished much in doing so.

I am very proud of her and know the voters of Lewiston will be, too.

I hope people vote for Heidi Brooks this November.
