LEWISTON – Police in the Twin Cities will be out in force this weekend as part of a national program to combat drunken driving.
Extra patrols are planned and police say there may be OUI checkpoints set up in certain areas as part of the enforcement.
The effort is part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, a program initiated by the National Highway Traffic Study Administration.
