1959 – 2014

ROME, N.Y. — Marion E. Bush, 54, of Rome, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 21, surrounded by her loving family.

Marion was born in Peabody, Mass., on Sept. 11, 1959, to the late Clarence and Ida Gravel Falkingham. She graduated from high school in Maine. On May 13, 2002, she was united in marriage to John W. Bush Jr.

Marion worked as a health care aide for Interm Healthcare and Atlantic Medical Staffing while living in Maine. Upon moving to New York, she worked for UCP and Hospice.

Marion loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She always enjoyed helping people whenever there was a need.

Marion is survived by her beloved husband, John Jr.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Amanda LaFrance, Lynda and Thomas Stevens and Heidi Caron; a son, William Bush; three grandchildren, Kiara, Corey and Kierston Abigail; and one sister, Ada Miller.
