RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Janet Legere Bean was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “Give Me Jesus” and “How Great Thou Art.” The Old and New Testaments were proclaimed by her sister, Sister Arlene Legere. The Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Sister Pauline Pomerleau. Personal reflections were shared by her daughter, Janet Perry, and son-in-law, John Perry. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
