State Police Trooper Jonathan Russell and his K9 Gus recently completed a 14-week training program to certify them as a team. Russell and Gus are part of Troop B in Gray and are assigned to patrol the area in and around Oxford Hills, the Lakes Region and Androscoggin County. Russell lives in Harrison. Searching for suspects, clearing buildings, finding evidence and looking for lost people are some of the things they do as a team.
