Square dance classes start Sept. 8

WILTON — Square dance classes will begin on Monday, Sept. 8, at the Academy Hill School. The first three lessons will be free. No partner  is necessary.

The dances are being offered by the Friendship Squares Dance Club and Farmington Adult Education. A semester of classes is $40 a person.

Classes will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday that RSU is in session this fall. For more information, call 509-6187.

SAD 52 will offer variety of classes

TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education will hold several enrichment classes this fall.

Many classes start the week of Sept. 15. New offerings include Ballroom Dance, Self-Defense for Women and Little Dragons Karate.

Favorites returning include Beyond the Point & Shoot Camera, Brick Block & Stone, GPS Map & Compass Basics, Dog Obedience, Yoga, Reiki, Tumbling, Zumba, Meet Your Guardian Angel and Meet Your Spirit Guide.

Choose career and training courses in CNA, Healthcare Provider, Heart-saver CPR & AED, EMT Basic Certification, Welding and Substitute Teaching.
