
Nate and Sara Gaudin, along with their boys, Garrett and Trevor, are seen here during their recent successful summit of Baxter Peak on Katahdin via the Hunt Trail, which is also the Appalachian Trail. The family spent the first weeks of summer vacation hiking various Maine peaks whenever possible to get into shape for the 5,000-plus foot mountain. Sara noted, “Nate was quite the photographer. He captured many moments despite the rain and slippery conditions. We will definitely return in the future to test out a different angle.”
