Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Allison Acritelli, Hanna St. Pierre, Lauren Cornelio, Sydney Letalien.
Season outlook: The Phoenix graduated Doyen, an all-regional selection, but have much of last year’s club returning, including Barnes and Duval, both all-state regional players, as well. Spruce Mountain makes the jump to the KVAC, which will be a challenge, but the Phoenix have a seasoned group that could be competitive.
