LEEDS —  Roland James and Eleanor Bragdon Leblond celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the British Isles. Mr. and Mrs. Leblond were married Sept. 4, 1964, at the Leeds Community Church by the Rev. Carl Georges.

They have two children, Jack, and his wife, Sherry, of Pflugerville, Texas, and Jessica, and her husband, Robert Schend, of Gales Ferry, Conn. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

After residing several years in the Portland area, Mr. and Mrs. Leblond returned to Leeds after their retirement. Mr. Leblond is retired from Hannaford Trucking. Mrs. Leblond is retired from TD Bank.
