I am writing in support of Heidi Brooks for the Maine House of Representatives.

In the amount of time I have known Ms. Brooks, she has shown herself to be a tireless advocate of those in need. Time and time again, she has shown an openness of mind and heart to many who have expressed concern regarding health care, education and jobs.

As a physician, she understands the importance of access to adequate health care and believes that access to decent health care is a fundamental human right.

She believes that a good education is the gateway of opportunity for career advancement. To that end, she will work hard at the State House to keep education of Maine’s youth a priority.

I believe Heidi Brooks will be a strong advocate for the people of Lewiston.
