Preschool story time at Rumford library

RUMFORD — The weekly story times in the Rumford Public Library Childrens room will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Area youngsters ages 2 to ­5 are invited to attend the story times, which are held at 10 a.m. every Wednesday.

There will be stories, songs, activities and a healthy snack. Children will make a take-home craft that reflects that weeks theme.

Story times will not be held during school vacations or in the event of school cancellations.

School to hold annual fall festival

RUMFORD —  Holy Savior School will hold its annual fall festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the school, 115 Maine Ave.

Events will include games, prizes, food and Touch-a-Truck for children.

Armory bingo to benefit Hope Association

RUMFORD — Armory Bingo will start Sunday, Sept. 7, at Hope Association, 85 Lincoln Ave. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and games start at 1 p.m.

Proceeds benefit non-Medicaid reimbursable programs provided by Hope Association.

Trail Blazers to hold first meeting

MEXICO — The Mexico Trail Blazers will hold the first meeting of the season at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Mexico Town Hall. All are welcome. For more information, call Nick Brown at 364-8665.
