There will be a full slate of fun-filled events over the entire day this Saturday,Sept. 6, when Orono holds its annual Festival Day. Times for events are as follows:

9 a.m.: Pie in the Sky 5K and Fun Run – Asa Adams School.

9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Book sale – Orono Public Library.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Truck petting zoo , celebrity reading tent, and crafts, all at the library.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Live music, games for kids, and food and craft sales, Mill Street. University Credit Union Building tours.

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Flying yoga and yoga flow, and a chili cook-off, Mill Street.

12:30 p.m.: University Credit Union grand opening and ribbon cutting.

2-4 p.m.: War canoe races and stand-up paddleboarding, University Motor Inn.

4:30-6:30 p.m.: Community chicken barbecue and family games, Webster Park.

6:30-8:30 p.m.: The Mallett Brothers, University Motor Inn.

9 p.m. – Fireworks, University Motor Inn.
