1928 – 2014

LEWISTON — Roger W. Irving passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Manchester, N.H., on Nov. 25, 1928. He was a graduate of Winthrop High School and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. Roger worked in various shoe shops and mills, and worked as an LPN at Pineland Center, until he retired.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golf, and watching the Red Sox.

Roger is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Landry) Irving; his sons, Michael of Columbia, S.C., and Richard of Auburn; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Cloutier, of Greene.
