1919 – 2014

LEWISTON — Theresa B. Fitzmorris, 95, formerly of Knox Street in Rumford, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston.

She was born in Rumford on July 21, 1919, a daughter of John and Maria (Guilmette) Belanger. Theresa was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1939. She was employed as a lab technician at Boise Cascade for 42 years.

Theresa was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. She was a member of the Boise 25- and 40-year clubs. Theresa loved her morning trips to McDonald’s for her coffee. She also loved making fudge and cake decorating.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Albert Fitzmorris, in 1995; a son, Dennis Fitzmorris; brothers, John Belanger Jr. and Paul Belanger; and sisters, Jeannette Conant and Arthimise Alamandi.
