AUBURN — The third annual “Making the Widow’s Heart Sing” conference is slated for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19 and 20, at East Auburn Baptist Church, 560 Park Ave.

The conference is designed to bless widows and equip widow ministry leaders in working together to help the church embrace this vital ministry.

Speaker Grace Fabian will tell her story and share inspiration on how God can bring life out of death. Workshops will include topics on Biblical widowhood, grief, dealing with depression and isolation and personal safety, as well as the nuts and bolts of running a widows’ ministry.

The registration deadline is Saturday, Sept. 13. Cost is $25. Friday dinner is an additional $7, but Saturday lunch is included in the registration fee.
