LEWISTON — A New York man who accidentally shot a bullet through his hand Monday at a northern Oxford County shooting range, was listed in good condition Tuesday at Central Maine Medical Center.
David Beisler, 66, of Jamesville, N.Y., accidentally discharged a .45-caliber handgun, sending a bullet through his hand, Cpl. John MacDonald of the Maine Warden Service said Tuesday. No other details about the accident in Lower Cupsuptic Township were available, he said.
Warden Reggie Hammond responded to the Rangeley area to meet with Beisler and investigate the incident.
Beisler was taken to the hospital by a NorthStar EMS ambulance.
