I have known John Cleveland since 1997. He a life-long resident of Lewiston-Auburn and a lifetime civil servant. I know I can continue to trust him to represent Auburn and the surrounding towns of Minot, Mechanic Falls, Poland and New Gloucester in the state Senate.

He has had extensive experience, both at the local and state levels, having served on the Auburn City Council, as mayor of Auburn, and multiple terms in the state Senate.

He represents the interests of working families, as exemplified by his desire to see the minimum wage increased, and in advocating for the Lewiston-Auburn College. He proved his pragmatism, as those who were originally opposed to the college have come to realize. The college is a respected and valuable asset to the community.

I am going to vote for John Cleveland so he can continue to fight for his constituents while serving in Augusta.
