Lewiston—Courtney D. Haas, a two-month-old baby daughter of Karla Schroeder and Clifford Haas, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 5, shortly after arrival at Central Maine Medical Center.

Courtney was born on June 15, 2014, a beautiful baby girl with beautiful, crystal-blue eyes and had a very vocal personality. Her beauty came out most with her smile when you tickled underneath her chin or if she was reaching for her cat’s tail.

She was a precious little girl and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her two sisters, Dawn Schroeder-Danforth and twin sister, Shianne Haas; maternal relatives include great-grandmother, Gail Weeks, two aunts, Amber and Gwen Schroeder, one uncle, Nate Schroeder; as well as many maternal cousins. Her paternal survivors include one aunt, Tammy Torrey, and husband, Junior, and also several cousins.
