LEWISTON — Eloise M. Vachon, 83, a resident of Campus Avenue in Lewiston, died Sunday morning, Sept. 14, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.
She was born in Jay on Dec. 4, 1930, a daughter of Adelbert and Alice (Beaudette) Fortier.
Eloise was a member of Holy Cross Church and choir, as well as both the Lewiston and Holy Cross Senior Citizens.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Vachon, of Gray; three brothers, Roger Fortier and wife, Lois, Romeo Fortier and wife, Annette, and Paul Fortier and wife, Marlene, all of Jay; and five sisters, Julienne Bubier and husband, Arthur, of Jay, Connie Pinette of Lewiston, Irene Labranche and husband, Donald, of Lewiston, Florence Labrecque of Lewiston and Rose Levasseur and husband, Lucien, of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien; and one son, Roger.
