1946 – 2014

BRIDGTON — Larry E. Lamb of Bridgton died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 11, in the comfort of his home in Bridgton.

He was born in Otisfield on April 15, 1946, the son of Ralph and Geraldine Lamb, and attended Otisfield schools. On Jan. 22, 1972, he married Brenda Ridlon of North Bridgton in Otisfield.

Larry worked at Robinson Manufacturing in Oxford for over 20 years. Later in life, he worked at Walmart and Hannaford, and within the Lake Region School District. Recently, he enjoyed working at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds during fair season.

He was a longtime member of Bridgton Alliance Church and a member of the Bridgton Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, learning the history of old local sawmills and volunteering anywhere he could.

Larry is survived by his son, David Lamb and his wife, Susan, of Gorham; a grandson, Craig Pelletier, of Gorham; and a sister, Gloria McAllister and her husband, Glyde, of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Brenda, on July 3, 2012.
